The 2013-2014 Optimist Year started on October 1st.

Thank you to everyone who helped us out by having lunch or dinner at our Fish Fry. Without you, we couldn't do any of the things we do! Thank you also to all the people, businesses, and organizations who made this year's Fish Fry possible.

An important purpose of Optimism is to serve the youth of our community. This gives us our motto. We serve our community in other important ways, too.
From our education-related projects to our highway cleanup work, the Avon Optimist Club offers many ways to help our community be a better place.

The Club meets every Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Monical's Pizza, located on the south side of US 36 in Avon, Indiana.
Membership is open to any adult who is interested in improving the Avon-Washington Township community.
